Electric Speedometer conversion to Mechanical was created by tyhoppy
I recently replaced my speedometer sensor, and after only 100 miles of riding, this sensor went bad. I'm considering replacing the electrical system with a mechanical cable speedometer. Does anyone have any experience with this and know if it will work?
Thanks.

I don't know about your Suzuki, but my KZ650-C1 came with a mechanical speedometer. Please add your bike's year/model to signature line, then dummies like me won't make stupid jokes.

Manual tach usually requires an engine head that accommodates a tach drive, and also an exhaust cam with the screw gear to turn the tach drive shaft.
Also need the tach drive components.
Good Fortune!
