Wiring in Headlight Bezel?

Wiring inside headlight is ok I think. Except for the connectors they used back then are really weird.

How did the inside of my Headlight bezel get so rusty? The outside is nice and shiny with no rust.

Yeah , mine was like that too. The condensation just gets trapped in there and eats away at things. Doeant get blast dried like the outside

Just give it a few quick spray coats of rustoliem or your fav ant-rust paint - and be done with her.

Check your diagram, but the Black/ yellow is ground, and the others are most likely for accessories. See if they are hot at Key-on or key-off.

You may want to dissolve that rust before painting. This stuff works, put it on and keep it wet for a couple hours, then the rust comes off easily. Any decent gun shop should carry it:

If you use one of the many rust eating acids like the one 650ED discribes, make damned sure you don't let any get on the outside of your bucket or it will eat the chrome off of it.

Probably good advice; it pays to be cautious. When I used the Birchwood Casey stuff on the inside on my old fender and headlight ears it did not hurt the chrome in there at all, but I didn't put it on the outer shiny surfaces so I cannot say for sure that it won't dull shiny chrome. I cannot vouch for other, possibly more harsh, chemical treatments. Ed
