What is the "other" wire on the ignition switch?

Aside from the connecter coming off the ignition, there is a wire with a tube like thing, is this just a connector, fuse, or?

(80 KZ750 LTD 4 cylinder)

That is an accesory power wire. That tube thing is a connector cover.

It takes battery power from the white wire at the ignition switch and feeds 12 volts to your lamps and horn and brake light switches and regulator etc... It is powerless when the key is off.

Go about one third of the way down and hit the "Z750E1 Wiring Diagram" (it shold be the same as the LTD) and see what that brown wire supplies.
