stator ?

Will a stator from a 80 z1000 fit on a 76 kz 900 i know the bottom ends are similar i know the 1000s are befier. I know the flywheel doesnt fit but will the stator?

1982 Kz750 w/ inverted gsxr front end. (sold) but forever missed
1980 z1000 cafe project w/76kz900 motor in it

No ,one fits inside and the other fits outside the magnets.

www.electrosport.com has a good troubleshooting section on their website. They also make an overwound stator for charging at lower rpm's.
