Missing starter button.

I know I'm going to have to replace it...... eventually.

I'm trying to find out if the engine will turn over for right now. Is there a way to take this thing apart and start it from its insides?

Yes you can find the wires that are in there for the missing button and just temporarily wire in a momentary button switch that you can get from Radio Shack, just be sure it is a momentary contact type so you don't accidentally leave it in the "on" position.
