If the bulb is an H-4 type, be careful in not overheating the headlight housing, possibly melting the wiring inside. Also would the charging system support a brighter headlight?

I run the halogen 7" sealed beam type. About 3X as bright as stock, costs about $10 - $15.kaw a bong a wrote: what is the best ''brightest'' headlight I can get at a reasonable cost?I have a stock headlight bucket 7in one piece lamp now and not too bright for these country roads.I'm not looking to upgrade to some Hid system ,just a good light.
