wiring problem with my 79 kz 1000 ltd

Looking for a wiring diagram for 79 kz 1000 ltd having problems with ignition switch is grounding out an when you turn ignition on an put power to the switch it automatically will start without hitting the button any with help???? Thank you guyz if you can

What switch would I replace? The ignition switch or the off run switch??? Its was when I put power to the off run switch when it wouldstart by itself without hitting the start button so I was thinking it Would be the off run switch??? Any help would be great"!!!

The run/stop switch kills the ignition coils. If you want to look at the electrical contacts of this switch, first disconnect the Negative battery terminal, remove the housing screws(3 I think)and seperate the housings. Be careful of how things go together(make a picture/drawing)as Kawasaki was good at squeezing wires in tight spots.

Sounds to me like the start button is shorted out. Maybe arcing welded the contacts together or crud has built up inside the housing. Either way take it apart and clean it out and polish the contacts.
