What weight and type oil was put in the forks?
Would suggest a heavier weight for firmer fork action, and using the correct volume as specified in the FSM.

The stock springs are half as stiff as they should be, they are designed to use air assist. Get some new springs from Progressive, and use 15w oil and no air, for best results.
