Harley Issue

Hey all, Sorry this does on pertain to my KZ.. but I've got a problem with my harley... other than the fact that its a harley.. and i didnt know where to turn for advice, so i figured I'd start here.. So i put new pipes on it.. and its an EFI system.. so I gott he V and H fuel pack (power commander basically) and i couldnt make it all fit under the seat.. so i took it out... and then went to start it and as soon as I hit the start button, everything shut off.. like it shorted out.. but I was still getting power from my battery in auxilary mode.. so to the quesiton.. How do you find out where the electrical connection is bad??? Any short Cuts?

have you tried removing/reinstalling battery cables to see if it will reset itself?

posting from deep under a non-descript barn in an undisclosed location southwest of Omaha.
