its just a concentrated carb cleaner, extra sea foam would just scrub things out better imo.
if you have a lot of crud in your tank it wouldnt hurt to install an inline fuel filter

Me neither, but this guy put 8 ounces into less than 1 gallon of gas. The Seafoam can calls for 1 oz per gallon, and let's face it, they want you to use lots of their product. 8 oz. per gallon is 8 times as much as recommended. The original posting implied the bike ran ok until he did this, so I suggested undoing it by draining the tank and carbs, putting in fresh gas, and seeing if the bike runs ok again. Then he should be able to put in the recommended Seafoam amount without a problem. Frankly, this seems sooo easy to try before performing more drastic measures as recommended by others (such as totally dismantling the carbs!) that I don't understand the hesitation. But to each his own. Ed

Dump that gas in to your car!
Pull the plugs out, let dry, use a propane hand torch also.
Crank the engine over with throttle open, either kick or electric.
Put some super gas into it. (we have a delta Sonic car wash) that sells 100 Octane unleaded
gas. It's $7.00 a gallon. Put that in! Or find some VP or Sunoco Nascar gas! Clean that combustion chamber out! Turn them plugs white! Run it up and down your street a few times.
Then use your sea foam and normal gas.
That's what I would do, If it was my cycle, why? Because I have.
That gas also works good in the spring time lawnmower, when you can't get to the grass for a week or so, and its tall and wet! Mower goes right through it!

Why does everyone think high octane fixes every possible problem with an engine??
It simply allows higher compression / higher boost, nothing more.
Simply drain the tank & carbs. Now, replace the drained fuel with whatever octane the manual reccomends. (Probably 87 . . .lol) Use of high QUALITY fuel is suggested. And, no, high octane does not automatically mean high quality.
