Reg/Rectifier question. 1978 KZ650SR

I was wondering if anyone could tell me is this part listed below compatible with my 78 kz650SR. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. Her is the description on the part page.



Designed to rectify A.C. output current to D.C. voltage. Replaces all selenium (metal plate) and silicon rectifiers. Protects batteries, lights, and complete electrical systems. 12 volt 200 watt (or less). Replaces regulators used on ARCTIC CAT, KAWASAKI, RUPP, SCORPION, SKI-DOO, and others

This is a 4-wire just like mine. Colors match. Just not sure about the specs.

I have actually checked that site out but am in a crunch right now $$$$ wise.

My thinking is that if the specs are different, the worst that can happen is the battery will over charge or the new part will burn out from electrical overload.
