1981 kz 1000 kill switch

Recently purchased a 1981 kz1000 csr for my son. Ran fine when purchased, sat in garage for one month untill graduation and now I cant get it to start. Turns over good but acts like no spark at all. I think little hands may have been on the bike, my question is besides the start/kill switch on the right side handlebar, there is a small red rocker switch on the left handlebar that is not the horn, high beam or turn signel, could this be a seperate kill switch, if not what is its function. Thanks,

Until better help comes along, will guess that it might be a switch for hazard blinkers or to cancel an automatic turn signal shut-off.

Pretty sure it's not another kill switch.

Good Fortune! :)

The red rocker switch turns on the 4 way flashers(2 front,2 back). Check for spark by using these:

If no spark, see if the ignition coils are getting battery voltage to the red terminals(this comes from the run/stop switch on the right handlebar switch pod).
