acewell 2803 gauge issue

acewell 2803 gauge issue

I just bought a acewell gauge. Wired it up tested all functions 100%. However when I put the bike in gear it shuts off the power to the gauge. I tested all the wires for power when the ignition is on and bike is on gear and I have power WTF? Anyone have this happen?

just had a thought. I tested this with the bike not running. Is it possible the power switches from battery to generator when the bike is in gear?

Where are you getting the power from, the Neutral light?

I think you nailed it. I have the ground hooked into the neutral light switch. When it's in gear there is no ground Doh!
