I need to know...let's say you are sitting on the bike and looking down. On the left is 1 and 4,

what colored wires go where???
left coil (from on top) then right coil
ok, the ign coils have "2" plug ins on the top and "1" nut washer type on the back of the coils
I have 6 wires:
1. green
2. yel/red
3. Black
4. Brown
5. an extra black
6. and a black and yellow
Where do they go? hmmm...

1 and 4. Just for clarification to whomever reads this.
Also, I would like a colored wiring diagram if anyone could be so generous to upload
a pic to the blog.

The next spark plug is #2.
The next spark plug is #3.
The last spark plug on the right (rear brake pedal) side is #4.
These are the cylinder numbers used for reference. 1-2-3-4 counting from the left.
These cylinder numbers are NOT the "firing" order, which is for example 1-2-4-3 on the large fours.

Black goes to the right coil for cylinders 1 and 4.
Green goes to the left coil for cylinders 2 and 3.
Left and right are swapped on the bigger bikes 900/1000/1100.

Way to spell it out for the "ri-tards" (hangover reference).
