So Im replacing my bad regulator with one of these newfangled one piece units and I have some questions. Looking at the unit, which has 2 reds (for positive) 2 greens (for negative) 3 yellows for the stator (no stripes)
So what now...dumb question I know. Do I just hack off the 2 factory connectors and splice and dice? I get where the 3 yellows go. I get the one red goes to the positve of the regulator and I get the grounds....What about all the other factory blue, pink, brown, orange, etc wires that were there before? just cap off and leave alone?
Am I overthinking this?
Thanks for the help guys

I believe you cap off the pink brown and other one as they were bridged to the rectifier before. They should go from the regulator plug to the white rectifier plug which will no longer be used.
