Instrument lamp holders

Anyone here have an idea for replacing the rubber lamp holders inside the tach and speedo? Mine dried out and crumbled when I pulled them to replace the lamps last year. I got by then, now they're toast. A new instrument harness costs $140. Yeah right! So I need some ideas or some used parts.

Light bulb socket holders?
Or the foam that lays on the aluminum bracket?

You can always improvise!

It's a molded rubber cover over the sockets. They poke through the back of the meter and are removable to replace the bulbs. I was hoping some one had a source for a commercial part that might work. I will improvise some way. Maybe turn some bushings from nylon bar stock. I was hoping for an off the shelf answer.

No foam in my meters.

Are your bulb sockets the older insert and twist type or the baseless type that take #168 or #194 bulbs?
