i am building a bobber out of a 1981 kz440, its so close to being able to ride but im not getting any spark. does its rewired and only has a headlight and a tail light, the ignition, and a starter button. has the normal things to run like regulator, starter selenoid, bla bla, but im not getting any spark. does anyone know anyways i can fix this short of buying a new coil? any help would be great thanks

yes 12v. i was wondering if i can eliminate the small box that is attached to the bracket that the coil is on. has anyone done this? i think the coil might be shot but the previous owner rode it daily intil the carb diaphram got a hole in it.
