Somebody posted the California vehicle code related to MC tail/brake lights on another thread and I recall that the center of the turn signal lense has to be something like 6" left or right of the center of the brake/tail light. The reason (obviously) is if the turn signal is too close to the tail light it will all look like one big light at night. Anyway, making a single tail/brake/turn light is possible but it has to be pretty wide to comply with the code that I saw. Your state may be different (?) but check first so you don't get pulled over. The one shown above would definitely not be in compliance here.

OK. I've been driving/riding about 40+ years and it has been my experience the last thing you want to do is run visible equipment that any cop will know gives him probable cause to pull you over and write you up. Just my opinion, I have better things to do than get hassled.Stu Pidasole wrote: to be perfectly honest i dont care what the laws are down here in florida.

I ran a tail tidy/integrated light on my ZX6R for years without any hassle. 99% of sport bikes use those. I think if you ride like a jack ass you're more likely to get pulled over.
