im in the process of putting turn signals back on my bike. i just put the front ones on but i still need to figure out how im going to mount some for the rear since to stock mounting brackets were cut off. will the blinkers work if i dont have back ones or do all 4 need to be hooked up to complete the circuit?

If you install a solid state flasher it will work since they don't care about load current. If you use the stock (thermal) flasher, it MIGHT blink with only one bulb. If it does blink, it will probably blink too slow.

The front ones are probably dual filament bulbs, designed for runing lights and turn signals.
#1157 is used there along with being used in the brake and rear tail light.

Rear turn signals are a single filament bulb with #1156 being used there.

Repositioned LTD and Z1 to a fabbed bracket under tag.
Gets signals out of the way of soft saddle bags.
And adds a bungee hook spot.

A large variety of aftermarket styles are available.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration

Memory fails, but they're usually available off the wall at bike shops

Also at ebay -- search "mini turn signals" under motorcycle parts.

Some appear better quality than others, maybe even real metal. :cheer:

These are relatively inexpensive (cheapo black plastic) and look similar to mine: :P

i was thinking about getting a 12 inch long piece of aluminum. the plate its 7 inches wide. i was thinking of making 2 inch bends on each end so that it leaves 8 inches to bolt to the back of the plate bracket. im just not sure how wide i should go. do you think 1 inch wide will be fine or should i go wider?

1" wide stock should be okay, provided it's thick enough.
The plastic mini's are very light weight.
