Rectifier / Connectors / Pins was created by DoubleDub
While examining my wiring, I found a mess at my rectifier. Multiple breaks in shielding, obvious scorching on the white output wire, and two of the yellow wires in the male plug had shorted melting the plug holder.

Anyways, I cam across this post by LoudHVX in the Kzrider Archives while trying to be cheap and replace the rectifier only (regulator appears to be good still).

Lou - you mention in the thread I found this at that you had a better design? Is this design sufficient to replace the factory rectifier? Also, what gauge wire would you recommend?

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to buy the male connector and pins for the factory wiring harness? I would prefer this over removing the connectors and replacing them with something different, but will if necessary.

I looked and they didn't seem to match up to the stock female connectors. I'll double check again.

The rectifier connector on my bike is white, but yes, the same 6-pin type connector.

The one I found on Z1 Enterprises doesn't have the keying like the factory one does, I'll have to ask them if it works.
