i have a new electronic tach to install. but after searching the internet i have info that says i need an adapter, and info that says i dont need the adapter. so i really dont what to tear my bike apart to install the tach and then possibly have to do it over again. so i would like to have more than one opinion on this. do i need the adapter or not, it is built for a 4 cylinder CAR and i have a 1983 kz550. please let me know if this will work or not. thanks for the input.
