Blinker/ turnsignal issue?

I have a 1980 kz 750 4 and when i turn the left turn signal on they both ( front and rear) work propery and but when i turn the right one on it just stays lit both front and rear. but when i put hazards on they all work properly?? what would cause the right one to just stay on???

The hazard and turn signal circuits are seperate. I'd check the sockets for a loose or broken ground wire(usually Black with Yellow stripe).

The turn signal switch may also be dirty and need cleaning, it's on the left handlebar switch pod.

The turn signal and hazard relay cans are silver, with usually a two prong connection. They are cheap to replace.

#1157 bulbs are used for the front turn signal/running lights and at the rear of the bike for the stop and tail light.

#1156 is used for the rear turn signals as they are a single filiment bulb.

It means that side is not pulling enough current to heat up the flasher and make it flash. The same flasher works both left and right, so it's probably a bad/wrong bulb on the side that won't flash or a bad electrical connection.

Did somebody use a lower current bulb or LED bulb by chance?
