I have ignition-hot wired to one side of each coil. The other side of one coil is wired to the black wire in the picture, and the other coil to the green. The wires that are arched over the top are wired to ground. I have no spark.
Any thoughts?

When done, the signature information appears in all posts, past and future. And may be changed as often as desired.
Here's how to do it:

76 KZ900 LTD.
Ignition appears to be modified to an electronic ignition without a module.
Upon further inspection, I think my crank sensors may be bad.
If i turn the motor by hand while checking resistance through the crank sensor, it reads 500 ohms and never changes. Shouldn't there be a short through it once a revolution??
Also, if i ground the coil lead that usually connects to the crank sensor manually, I get a spark on that coil.
(but it is a weak weak spark. coils are probly crap too.)

As can be reviewed in the image below, you have a shared +12Vdc to both pick ups... The sensor plate is attached to ground for you Vdc referencing.
The other two conductors, left side should feed to coils 1/4 while the other to coils 2/3...
You can us an automotive test light where while rotating the crank you'll see the light come on and off...
Maybe this will help explain the Dyna S installation & test process... Should be similar I would think.

...76 KZ900 LTD...think my crank sensors may be bad.
If i turn the motor by hand while checking resistance through the crank sensor, it reads 500 ohms and never changes. Shouldn't there be a short through it once a revolution??
Also, if i ground the coil lead that usually connects to the crank sensor manually, I get a spark on that coil....
Continuity through sensor module to ground allows the coil to build charge by conducting current through the coil primary winding.
When the rotor "trigger" (whatever that happens to be on this particular system -- perhaps a small embedded magnet such as Dyna-S) passes the sensor module each revolution, the continuity to ground is interrupted by the rotor passing the sensor module.
The interruption to ground is what cause the charged coil to "discharge" by firing through the secondary loop, which includes both spark plugs.
Seems a little odd that both sensor modules would simultaneously fail. Perhaps fried by some other wiring episode (such as jumping from a car battery while the car engine is running.)
Would if possible double check integrity of grounds where wires from sensor modules attach to ground against the engine case.
As noted by OMR, there should also be switched battery positive voltage to each sensor module (red wire on Dyna-S).
Good Fortune!

From that diagram it looks like I have mine wired wrong. (assuming the Ignitor and Dyna are similar). I was thinking about it backwards. The idea of an "interruption" of the ground connection made my brain light bulb turn back on. Hopefully I didn't fry everything in the process.
I will re-wire and post the results.

I wired it as per the diagram above and that fixed it.
Thanks for the help.
