If your're trying to remove the male or female pins from the connectors, I use a flattened paper clip(take a hammer and beat one straightened end about 3/16" long so it fits in the connector)or jewelers screwdrivers to unlock the retention clip on the pin.
Don't force the pin out of the connector as it may result in getting a new connector or pin(s).

We finally had a warm day and I managed to get home before the temp dropped. It was still above 50 when I got home.
I hit the start button and the bike started up first try with almost hesitation.
I'm sure I'm still headed for a starter rebuild, but I'm hopeful now that I might make it through one riding season first.
We'll see.
