Electric Tach?

In keeping with my planned complete upgrade of the electrical system (HID headlight/LED everything else), I'm toying with the idea of getting an electric tachometer.

I'm currently running a Dyna S ignition, I certainly won't be drag racing or needing a shift light or anything. I guess it'd just be an interesting upgrade. Minimizing another potential oil leak is good too

I was planning on shipping my speedo and tach to get restored, it's roughly $100 more to get a new electric tachometer, than it is to get my existing mechanical tach restored.

Pros/cons???
