No neutral light? was created by EvD
Hey, I am building a kz900 bobber and i want to put a neutral light on it. The problem i am having is there is only one wire coming out of the motor for the light and i checked it on my meter with juice being sent to the motor in neutral and out of neutral and still no power. Any HELP or thoughts would be great. thanks

EvD all that the neutral switch does is ground to the motor when the bike is in neutral. You can test it by connecting your test light to the positive terminal on your battery, and then touching the wire coming from the switch. The test light should illuminate when the transmission is in neutral, and not in any other gear.
