An electrical screw-up was created by inline4
I went to the garage tonight to check out the wiring harness and both right & left handlebar switches that have been in a box since I first started this project two years ago.
Man was I surprised to see that the harness and switches were tagged by the seller I bought them from as "1982 KZ1000." Since my project is a based on a '74 Z1A, these are pretty much useless to me at this point.:( :(
I suppose I'm cheating a little bit here, but I have to sell these units. I'm offering them here before I put them on ebay. (That's another story unto itself; I've never sold anything on ebay  )
Before this post I went to ebay to search for a wiring harness and handlebar switches for my project, but of course there was NOTHING!:(
The moral of this story is.............................
DON'T start buying stuff for a project when you don't know what the hell you're doing!
Another lesson learned for me.
Jim

Hi Inline,
Sorry about your switch problem. Unfortunately, you're going to have to start over in the classified section. Offers like your are not supposed to be placed in the tech forums.

Sorry
Bill
