Does anyone know where i can find a simple wiring diagram for a 77 KZ1000, without the controls on the bars and without turn signals? i just want the bare essentials, i will figure it out if i have to myself but that might take a while, thanks.

thanks patton, do you have any more that have a charging system diagram, i wanna do some re-wiring and keep stuff simple, like using another ignitions switch with a start lug to get rid of the start button and stuff. i can figure most of the stuff out but i want to make sure its gonna charge too.

If needed, here's a link to where a wiring diagram may be downloaded. It's found by going to Filebase under KZ Information in the green ribbon near top of screen. Navigate to year, then model, etc.
kzrider.com/index.php?option=com_docman&...w&gid=109&Itemid=108
There are some excellent abbreviated wiring diagrams in other threads here on KZR.
Unfortunately, I don't have them at hand.
Might need a search or perhaps someone will post a link.

There is also a diagram here
cycles.evanfell.com/2010/03/wiring-diagr...z1000-and-kz1000ltd/
save it to your comuter and then remove or erase the parts you do not want in a progam like microsoft paint.
