no spark

It could be that with it hooked up incorrectly, it is damaged. I don't have the system personally. These past postings have the wiring for it though. Have you used your test light to confirm that voltage to the unit is there, and the ground? I think on there web site they have a easy to follow trouble shooting guide. Should tell you how it works and where and what should have power, with a test light at the coils across the small terminals you should get a pulsing flash when it is working.

Go to Ebay and look, you will find he has 2 posts, for 1 coil each = 2 total.

ok, yeah i see a 93 and 89.....

you seem to be giving it a great try...for me when a harness is that chewed up and undone ect...it makes tracing stuff that much harder...when you do get both coils and when you do get the dyna wired up tight and the conectors good...you may want to pick up a harness ..either from Jeff at Z-1 enterprises or there are good decent ones turning up all the time too...the key word is "good"...i try not to bid on one that i cant see a close up of ie one that has been re-wrapped...then with a decent shape harness the controls on the bars and the plug ends in the headlight,junction box,and tail section ,make a lot more sense...also ,you can be fixing stuff and still have a bunko wire or somthing connected that should not be ect...

i bet the dyna is working...i bet the proper coil set will be ok too...those coils on auction are the right ones....even when i have a stock harness and controls and coils in great shape...i still have little fuse ,ground,plug together issues when starting a unfamiliar bike in the beginging....there are little tiny things that finally get solved...i think that is hwere you gonna be soon and from there it will solve...

very nice of Bj...thats the way this place can work sometimes..i had one too but it has some snipped ends and was for a project...i almost offered it but you saved me bj...very very cool... imo grab at it kz1k it'll be tough still but a little forward movement snowballs..
