I have a 77 kz1000a and both gauges are busted. I would like to change the look of them any way and would like to know if GPZ units be made to work or does any body have some police units. Just looking to go to something different
Thanks Bill
If it ain't a liter its just a mini bike

Sorry man. I can't help you with the change, but if you decide to stay stock, this guy can make them look like new for around a c note each. www.z1enterprises.com/reference/zresto_home.aspx

He does awesome work.

On the 1981 and 1982 GPz 1100's, the tach drive is electric with the right coil providing the impulses.

The speedometer is cable driven on these two models.
1982 GPZ1100 B2
General Dynamics/Convair 1983-1993
GLCM BGM-109 Tomahawk, AGM-129A Advanced Cruise Missile (ACM)
