KZ 650 Dyna-S Upgrade

Well, i must say that points are a pain! Still using stock coils on this bike, but have an option to buy the Dyna-S Ignition system for cheap. Wondered if the coils on there will work with it, or do i need Dyna DC1-1 coils specifically for this bike.

The stock 4-ohm coils will work, but if they are old, you may want to eventually get the Dyna or Accel 3-ohm coils for use with the Dyna S.

I dont know for sure about the KZs but on my Honda you can use the stock coils with one and they dont want you to use anything hotter 3 ohm.

As Loud mentioned should work if they are indeed the OEM coils (resistance)...

Same time, do yourself & beloved KZ a huge favor...
Replace with matching Dyna coils and plug wire set as well and feel the difference...
