stator question will it work?

i just purchased a stator assembly for a 77 kz650 c on ebay
but i have a 77 kz650 b1 i was wondering if this will be an issue

I pulled up both models and checked the part # that they use for the stator, #27 in the drawing. It is the same,#21003-1005. Use your service manual for the spec, and check the resistance of the coil. I do not have this info. But 1 of the great members here would, it'll post as well as a test most likely. Hopefully your Ebay find is OK.

As long as they are both the early 1977 type, they should be swappable. The later type looks totally different, so you'd know right away (in photos) if they are different.
