ignition coil help

i have a 1978 kz200 and i need an ignition coil that fits and is less than the 150 places want does anyone know of any different year thats the same or model thats newer

Go to the Kawasaki website under "Owner Info" and you will find parts diagrams. Once you find the correct one, you can find which other bikes use that same part number. However, cheap is not likely unless you are ok with used. As with any used part, there's always a chance that the replacement might not be any better, or might fail early. Of course, it might be just fine for quite a while.
