Engine noise? Nope!!! was created by KZ1100 Bully
Well I have a rattling noise in the front of the bike. Only at 2200 to 2300 rpm. Thought it might be the cam chain but I just replaced that maybe it is the lifters, could be the exhaust. Thought it could be the gauges or the headlight.

It turns out to be the wires in the back of the headlight. And theirs is a lot of them.
Any idea how to stop those wires from rattling around? I tried moving the wires around but it only changed the rpm setting it would rattle. Thought maybe some spray foam or something.

Foam tape or bubble wrap, that way you can still access the connectors when needed.

I don't know, but it may get pretty hot inside the headlight shell. Maybe a wad of fiberglass insulation in the back of the shell would serve as padding? Ed

I'd try a few ty-wraps to bundle the wires together. It will change the vibration frequency when tied this way.

Right on guys thanks for the tips. I wrapped the wires with some new electrical tape. I placed the bundle of wires in a old sock and I put that in a heavy duty rubber glove. I cut the fingers off the glove and used a few ties to hold it all together.

No more noisy headlight wires.
