Just wondering, what is the difference between the dyna s for the 550, 650, 750, and the one for the 900, 1000?
(DS2-2 vs DS2-1)

The 550, 650, 750/4 should be the same.

The 900/1000 family use a larger physical plate, and the rotor may be slightly different.

Electrically, I don't think there is any difference. There would be no reason for any electrical difference, but I don't know for sure.

I thought it must be something like that, on the dynatech site, they use the same pic and instructions for both versions. I cant see there being a reason for them to be different electrically either, they both use the 3.0 ohm coils.

It is basically the size. The KZ650's have an additional wire for the oil pressure switch - the base unit is similar, but it's not something you could easily adapt to swap between the 900/1000 version and the 550/650/750 version.
