73 Z1 blue wiure from rear turn signals ???? was created by mtkawboy
Trying to hook up the rear turn signals on my 73 Z1. Theres a blue wire coming from both of the rear turn signals with male ends on both & nothing to plug them into. Im not very good at wiring diagrams. It shows on the diagram a blue wire going from the brake lite switch which there is but what do you do with the 2 blue wires from the turn signals ??

I'm not sure of the earlier Kawasaki's wiring colors, but the wire colors of later ones are like this:
BLACK with YELLOW stripe, the ground circuit.
RED,the tail light or running light.
BLUE(sometimes with a RED stripe) the brake light circuit.

Sounds like you have 3 wire, with dual filment bulbs, signals.
The front turn signals on some models have 3 wire dual filament bulbed turn signals, which have running lights as well as signals.
The blue wire is for the running light circuit.
Sounds like someone added front signals to the back of your bike.
If you run a wire from the front signal blue wire to the back blues, you can have running lights all the way around, front & back.
