Pursuit light on the cluster of my KZ650E?

I just got a new to me 1980 KZ650E. I had a few questions about the lights on the cluster, at the bottom of the stack of lights is a 'pursuit' light, it seems to light up when the brake is applied. Is this somehow correct for my bike? Also, there is a 'hazard' light in the lower right of one of the gauges. I think it may have been starting to glow as the tank got empty. Am I right about that? Or way off base? Any other lights I should know about?

It's a different bike, but the yours is probably similar in regards to the basic functionality of the indicator lamps. Skip the first 4-5 replies.

Newb Question = Easy Answer

A pursuit light would be cool ... kinda like K.I.T.T., or Streethhawk,

I saw that thread, I think that the hazard lamp on mine must be like the low fuel light. But, "pursuit"? The only reference to Pursuit I can find on the web is for police bikes. Anybody ever seen a pursuit lamp on a KZ650 before?

in my experiance anyway the pursuit lights usually come on behind me anyway! :laugh:
