hi all i finally got enough cash for my dyna ignition-ive already installed the dyna coils and plug wires[didnt think id come up with the money for a while]how much of a pita is it to install [coils and wires were a piece of cake]do i still need a timing light to set timing the first time -any advice much appreciated ..thanks in advance mike.....

should be another piece of cake.
just follow the instructions.

Have to modify the coil mounts slightly... not a big deal, can even use stock pieces....

Dont sweat not having a timing light. If you set the timing dead nuts statically 9 times out of 10 the strobe will be the same. The instructions can be confusing. If you are familiar with setting the points treat it the same as far as the "F" mark lining up when she fires. The instructions tell you to hold the advance and fire on the "T" mark. As long as the advance works right you should have no problems.
