Intake Boots

I am in dire need of new engine intake boots for my 75 KZ400. The problem is that I cannot find any anywhere. Now I just want to know if anyone knows if other years will fit. I found a pair for a 76. If anyone knows please let me know.

No, I don't think Z1E has them. I have two suggestions: (1) Have you scoured the KZ400 site to see if someone has posted which intake mounts cross-list? and (2) failing that, call Jeff at Z1E as if anyone might know a source...it would be him.

They are not available new, at least when I last checked a few years ago. The 75 and 76 should be almost the same since the carbs are almost the same, but check with someone who knows for sure.

I ended up making some out of metal then using heater hose to complete it.

In doing so, I made a drawing of the stock intake manifold. (The paper gasket was only for the metal manifold I made.)
