77kz1000 turn signals was created by hmeric7
yeha i have a 77 kz1000 and i just restored it. the turn signals were working fine but now there blinking rapidly. both of em left and right front and back. so when i put on the left the left side does nuts and when i do the right the right side goes nuts. any ideas what could be causeing this . thought it was wierd theyd blink like that when there both working

Check your flasher relay, also make sure the wires are correct on the bulbs so it is lighting the turn and not the running circuit. It will do strange things if you have a bad ground, like flash quick and light up some other lights as it tries to find ground though them.

A broken filiment on one end can bridge inside the bulb causing similar problems. I'd go to the auto parts store and get new bulbs. #1156 for the rear turn signals(2) and #1157 for the front turn signal/running lights(2).

#1157 can also be used for the running/brake light circuits.
