Does anyone know where to find the little gold screws that are used to tighten down the points after adjusting the gaps? I went to adjust the point gaps yesterday and the head was completely stripped out of both of them on the right set of points  ... Had to use tiny needle nose vise grips to finally loosen it up and adjust them (they looked new, but the gaps were about twice as wide as suggested).
Anyway, does anyone know where I could find these screws, checked Z1, no luck. I found the whole ignition set on ebay for about 50$, but I'm not going to pay that just for a couple of screws. Of any tips for how to deal with this? The visegrips work for now, but I know that I'm not always going to have them handy when I need to adjust the gaps, and the screw head will get rapidly chewed down after a couple more adjustments.
I hope to go with an electronic ignition someday, but thats probably not in the cards anytime soon.
Thanks in advance!

The kawasaki parts diagram shows them as "SCREW PAN HEAD 4X8".
4 x 8 mm. You might be able to find some at your local hardware or Home Depot.
This post details how to find and use the parts diagrams:

Some members here or on the 650 forum (linked above) may have some spares if your lucky.
Welcome as well.

Hey thanks! I did not know that there were parts diagrams available from Kawasaki, very cool. Hopefully I can find a replacement at the hardware store, in the meantime I'll be using pliers.
