KZ1000P custom wire harness ideas?

I have a 93 kz1000p that will not fire up. It barely ran when I first purchased 5 years ago. It does not have a faring and the wires appear to cut here and there. I would like to make a custom wire harness. Has anybody ever made one?

For race bikes it is done all the time, but on a street bike it is a lot of work. You can get the wiring diagram and see what was cut. Most likely most of the stuff you would have never required anyway like the Police lights, radio, siren, and other police junk.

It depends on how much custom wiring you want to do.One problem is getting the two colored wires that the factory used(Black with Yellow stripe for an example).

Another is locating new electrical connectors and the required crimping tools.
