replacing stock blinkers on 1980 kz 750 w/ LEDs

Is is possible to replace stock blinkers on a 1980 KZ 750 H-1 LTD with led bullets. I'm getting mixed remarks from people but if I dabble with the correct relays if needed and use load equilizers the application should work right? I'm open to any suggestions and guidance.Has anyone out there done this.

There is absolutely no problem doing it. I did it on my scratch built 82 GPz1150. Matter of fact, I do not have a SINGLE incandescent bulb on the bike anywhere. All you need to replace with the blinkers is the flasher units. Yes I said Units (2)! There is one for directional and another for emergency. The Flasher units are about $15 each. So all I need to worry about are the {2}blinker relays and not the load equalizers.The LEDs will be fine with the current voltage?Do I just step down to the next step in voltage for new relays {flasher units}?Thanx for your quick response.

Just replace the existing flasher units with electronic ones. That is all. If you want some I have them. Last time I bought some I bought 6 to have some spares.
