New Main and battery harness replacement

I am about to remove my old harness from a 1977 KZ 1000 LTD (B1) and install a reproduction harness. Does anyone have any advice or tips before i start?

For later reference when installing new cable - take lots of pictures of each connector and of the routing of the cable. Clean old terminals before plugging into new cable. Ed

Allow for plenty of flexing around the steering head to avoid pinching/shorting the wiring too.

just take your time....i did mine...wasnt bad and if i can do it, anyone can.....:blink:
