80 KZ440B Front Brake Switch

Can someone confirm if the 1980 KZ440B that had the drum brake up front also had a front brake switch that triggered the brake light? I just bought a heavily modified example that only has a rear brake switch. I got a hold of the previous-previous owner who did all the work but he wasn't sure. He stated that the complete stock wiring harness is there and that there may have been a wire that connected to the brake perch but didn't know anymore.

From kawasaki.com parts diagram of 1980 KZ440B, here's the "handlebar" diagram showing part #32 (toward top) as front brake switch.

According to kawasaki.com, the front brake switch #32 is still available from Kawasaki as part no. 27021-004, and was used on many Kawasaki models from 1970 through 2001.
