Does it matter? was created by john8
I went to change a fuse in my 81 kz1000J before I looked at the wiring diagram. There was a 20 amp fuse so naturally I went to the store and bought 20 amp fuses. I was looking over the diagram tonight and found that there is suposed to be a 10 amp in that place. Soooo, does it matter??

I want to ride my bicycle!!!

it wont effect anything, but the fuse is made to break if to many amps for some reason are being pushed through that circut.....

If you have too many amps being pushed through a circut that is ment to use only 10 amps you can damage wires, electrical components, ect.

I would put a 10 amp in it, if it blows it then you got a short or a bad connection somewhere.

Not unless theres an electrical problem where you need the fuse to blow to keep the wiring from catching fire.
