76 kz750 twin.how to start without starter

Please dont kill me for my seemingly stupid questions!
I'm trying to put my 76 kz750 together, I wasnt the one who took it apart or I wouldnt be having thees problems. My questions are can I hook points and coil up to battery, provide fuel and be able to kick her over to start? Does this bike have a magneto? Ok now another electrical question.I just bought 2 other Kaws for parts for this one. Primarily for wiring harness grips and etc. The 1st is a 76 KZ400 the 2nd is a 81 KZ550 will wiring harness work off of either of these bikes for my 76 KZ750? The KZ550 is 4 cylinder so if I used wiring I just would hook up one of the coil and isolate the other? Still trying to get my hands on a cheap manual, I'm trying to not spend alot of money until I hear the motor fire over.

It should work if you have Spark,Fuel and compression.You just have to figure a way to turn it over. Kick start should do it. Mag is for charging the battery. As far as the wiring thats a question for the BIG BOYS

I just ditched the starter off of my 79 750 twin. At first I was dismayed because I thought I'd never get it to POP. Finally I tried to do what any good Japanese motorcycle rider should never do. I pulled the enricher AND cracked the throttle and then kicked it as if I needed to move on NOW! The bike responded with a most gratifying POP.
