what would be a good combo front and back set up for hiway use. i like to do long rides not bar to bar. hi rpms at 65 to 70.

I would go about 10 - 12% below stock. In other words, if the stock rear is 42T, go with a 37T.

My 1982 KZ1000J had a 42 tooth rear on it (41 is stock). Spun way too high for me. Put a 38 tooth on the rear and am happy.
