I think what you are saying is you want rear running lights. While your front blinkers are used for running lights I do not believe your rears are supposed to be. I could be wrong here. The easiest way to check is to take off the lens and see if they are double filament. One for running lights and one for blinkers. Like I said I could be wrong. But I don't remember many with rear running lights.

The rear turn signals are only used as turn indicators.

The fronts serve as running lites & turn indicators.

Most states do not allow rear running lights unless RED lenses are used. To verify light functions, the front signals will have three wires(running filament, turn signal filament, and ground wire) while the rear signals will have two wires(turn signal filament, and ground.

True, at least in this state. I installed front units in the rear so I could use the rear turn signals for brake/running lights so I painted the lenses red to comply. Rear turn signals can be red or amber, but running lights in the rear have to be red.

Kawi did make some red lenses for the police bikes that fit the stock turn signals, but I don't know if they still sell them.

Maybe clear lenses with red bulbs as running and turn signals is what you need. Look at this website:

My rear blinkers are red on both the 77 650 and the 76 900. Guess bro did that then. Don't look painted. He must have bought them somewhere. I'd guess e-bay. Not runnin' lights.

I have seen the red turn signal lenses for sale on ebay. I remember they were like $30 for a set of two. I looked the new OEM part price up on babbitts and it was like $6 each (they are the front lenses for the position lights on the cop bikes). Didn't try to order any, I just painted mine.

Ballpark of about a second, I think mine is 0.8 seconds so it will flash about 6 times in five seconds.
