Illuminator lights

1981 Kawasaki 750 LTD. I have no illuminator lighting. I pulled the chrome covers off but the unit looks like it is pretty sealed. Anyone know how I can get my tack and speedo lights working again? I have the manual but its for a 79 not an 81.

On mine, you take off the headlight housing first, also the tach and speedo cables at the meters. Then, you have to take the metal shell covers off the tach/speedo to get at the insides where the light bulbs are. It's a royal pain.

If the LTD is a 4cyl, then my manual will have a wiring diagram for your bike. PM me to let me know, and I will take a pic or three of it on SHQ for you to use.
